THE SLŌ DIFFERENCE
Transitions are purposeful, the pace is controlled, and burnout isn't the goal. We cue clearly, correct kindly, and help you understand why each movement matters. We don’t rush you through it. We teach you how to do it well.
Welcome to SLŌ.
Move with intention. Build strength. Find balance.
HOW SLŌ TEACHES LAGREE
Instruction at SLŌ is personal and intentional.
Classes emphasize slow, controlled movement, constant engagement, and precise form. You’ll hear clear cues, feel thoughtful corrections, and be guided through each sequence with confidence. We meet you where you are, then help you progress without rushing the process.
Our goal is simple. For you to feel strong, capable, and supported every time you step on the machine.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Just yourself, a water bottle, and grip socks. For your safety and the cleanliness of our machines, grip socks are strictly required for every class. If you don’t have a pair or happen to forget them, don’t worry—we sell high-quality, aesthetic grip socks in the studio.

If it is your first time, please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. We want to welcome you, introduce you to the Mega Pro machine, and ensure you feel completely grounded and confident before class begins. For returning clients, arriving 5 minutes early gives you the perfect amount of time to settle in and find your focus.
-
The Lagree method is famous for being high-intensity but incredibly low-impact and joint-friendly. However, every body is different. Please clear any new workouts with your doctor first. If you are cleared, please let your instructor know before class begins so we can provide thoughtful modifications to keep you safe and fully supported.
-
We ask that you cancel your reservation at least 12 hours before class begins. This allows another client the opportunity to take your place on the machine. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a loss of class credit or a fee, depending on your package or membership type. We appreciate your respect for our community’s time and space.
-
To honor the intentionality of the workout, minimize distractions, and keep everyone safe, doors lock promptly at the start of class. If you are not present when class begins, we cannot allow entry, and your machine may be given to someone on the standby list.
-
If a class you want is full, definitely join the waitlist! As spots open up (outside of the 12-hour cancellation window), you will automatically be added to the class and notified via email. Please treat the waitlist like a regular booking—if you know you can no longer make it, remove yourself to avoid any late cancellation fees.

Because Lagree focuses on deep muscle exhaustion, your body needs time to recover and rebuild. We recommend coming 3 to 4 times a week for optimal, sustainable results. Remember, rest is just as intentional as movement.
-
Absolutely. Lagree at SLŌ is designed for all levels. Because the workout is completely scalable and relies on slow, controlled tension rather than momentum, you are always in control of your own resistance and pace. We recommend starting with our SLŌ Foundations class, but you will be guided and supported in any class you choose.

While they share similarities in focusing on the core and using spring-based resistance, Lagree is a completely different method. Pilates is traditionally focused on rehabilitation and flexibility. Lagree is an intense, full-body strength and cardiovascular conditioning workout designed to bring your muscles to fatigue. At SLŌ, we honor the authentic Lagree method exactly as it was designed.
